Homeowner Affordability And Stability Plan?

I heard some rudimentary details of the Obama administrations effort to make lives of American home owners wee bit better. But I am not sure of the details, could somebody outline these.

I am a homeowner and so far I have made all the payments on time. But any steps to ease the burden would be whole heartedly welcomed.
