My mom recently passed away and she had a home mortgage. She had another mortgage on a previous home loan and now I can’t find any paper work on her new home mortgage. I called the bank that she has this loan with and they won’t tell me anything because I am not the executive of her will. Problem is my sister is the executive and I have a bad feeling they are trying to sell the land and take the money without telling the rest of the remaining siblings. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Well in her will it does state that me and my other brother gets a piece of the land. But my other siblings say that it is mortgaged and that she had no credit life to pay it off. They won’t show us any paperwork and they act like the bank won’t give them any copies, which is a lie because I talked to the bank. I am going to get an attorney to fight this but I wish I knew of a way to find out for sure if the land is paid off or if they are telling the truth about it still being mortgaged.
Does anyone know if you can get a VA home loan as your mortgage and then apply for and use federal/state/local first time home buyer grant money for the down payment? I know there are a lot of first time home buyer programs out there, but which ones can you combine with a VA home loan?
I am in the Maine Corps and I would like to buy a house and a was wondering what credit score you have to have to get approved for VA home loan and how long it might take…. all help would be appreciated. THANKS!!!
I am looking to purchase a home, and i am unclear about the certificate i recieved from the Veterans office. Is the certificate for a down payment. How do i go about using the certificate. And what is the max on a VA home loan
I just got out of the military last year and am looking to buy a home w/ a VA home loan. I’m in college full time and working for the federal gov’t part time. Because I only work part time my income APPEARS to be very low right now temporarily while I am in college. I have a rather high credit score of 724, but here is the cautch 22. I figure in order to get approved I would have to show a higher income such as adding my wife to the mortgage. But she has very bad credit score. So what do I do? I have the good credit score but temporarily not enough income, she would add to the income but lower the credit score. The funny thing is, the homes we are looking at we could afford easily with our eyes closed no problem. We have been paying nearly 00 a month rent for the past year on time perfectly and I never miss a payment on anything but do lenders ever look at that kind of thing, perfect rent payment history?
Any advice? Any suggested VA mortgage lenders in MINNESOTA?
